QALIPSIS GUI

The QALIPSIS web GUI is a browser-based interface for configuring, running and analysing test campaigns.

It is a single-page application served by default on the port 8400 when the command line argument --gui is enabled.

Layout

The GUI is organised around a left sidebar and a main content area. The sidebar exposes three top-level sections:

Section Purpose

Campaigns

Create, schedule, monitor and inspect test campaigns.

Series

Define data series (aggregations of meters and events) used to build charts and reports. Series must exist before they can be referenced by a report.

Reports

Assemble series and campaign selections into re-usable analytical reports.

Recommended reading order

Screens depend on each other:

  1. Campaigns — the entry point after login; produces the raw execution data.

  2. Series — must be defined first if you want tailored charts. Reports cannot be built without at least one series.

  3. Reports — combine one or more series with a set of campaigns.
